Manchester United are one of the clubs plotting a summer move for Jarrod Bowen if West Ham United get relegated this term, according to The Guardian.
Man United want quality attacking depth at the Old Trafford club as they prepare for Champions League and will look to bring the West Ham captain from the London Stadium.
The Hammers could be relegated tonight if Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea, and Bowen is one of those expected to leave.
However, the Red Devils will face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea for the services of the 29-year-old.
Newcastle United have also been credited with interest in the England international, but he could prefer to join a team in the Champions League.
Bowen has eight goals and ten assists in 37 league games this term and he has a combined 21 goals and assists across all competitions.
Man United regard Bowen’s versatility as a big plus as he can also play as a number 9 despite predominantly being a right winger.
The Red Devils are considering the West Ham star as an option on the left wing as he also features there regularly.
The ‘unbelievable’ Bowen moved to the London Stadium club from Hull City in 2020 and has notched 84 goals and 62 assists in 279 games for West Ham since then.
He has the potential to become a key player for Man United should a move work out, and the move could excite the fans.
The Hammers skipper brings much-needed experience and quality to the table and is an upgrade on Amad Diallo.
More suitors are expected to join Man United and others in his pursuit if West Ham gets relegated and he impresses at the World Cup with the Three Lions.
