Manu Koné ruled out of France's United States tour after thigh injury | OneFootball

Manu Koné will miss France's United States tour after suffering a right thigh injury while playing for AS Rome in the Europa League on Thursday.

According to L'Équipe, the midfielder went off after 20 minutes in the last-16 second leg against Bologna. He will have tests on Friday afternoon but has already withdrawn from France's games against Brazil on Thursday 26 March at 21:00 and Colombia on Sunday 29 March at 22:00.

Earlier on Thursday, Didier Deschamps named an expanded 26-man squad to cover any late injuries, as he explained in his press conference.

Les Bleus are scheduled to fly to the United States on Tuesday, only 24 hours after the start of the camp, so the head coach sought to plan ahead.

Koné's setback became the first enforced absence that same evening.
