Marco Guida named Coppa Italia final referee for Lazio v Inter | OneFootball

Marco Guida has been appointed to referee Wednesday's Coppa Italia final between Lazio and Inter, with Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni on VAR. Lega Serie A announced the appointments.

The final kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday May 13 at 20.00 UK time, 21.00 CEST. The trophy will be settled in 90 minutes, extra time, or penalties if required.

Guida will be assisted by Stefano Alassio and Giovanni Baccini. Luca Zufferli is the fourth official on the touchline, dealing with Maurizio Sarri and Cristian Chivu. In the VAR booth are Mazzoleni and his assistant Aleandro Di Paolo.

Guida, 44 and from Torre Annunziata near Naples, takes charge of a Coppa Italia final for the first time.

He has officiated 29 competitive matches this season, awarding 11 penalties and three straight red cards. With Inter under his whistle the record is 17 wins, 10 draws and six defeats, with five dismissals. Lazio's matches with him have produced 12 wins, eight draws and 12 losses, with eight players sent off.
