Marcus Rashford compares Lamine Yamal with Barcelona & Real Madrid legend | OneFootball

Barcelona summer signing Marcus Rashford has this week provided an insight into his appreciation for the talents of new teammate Lamine Yamal.

Rashford has for his part of course spent the last couple of weeks familiarising himself with the talent in Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad.

This comes after the Englishman was snapped up on a season-long loan from parent club Manchester United.

Increasingly aware of the Blaugrana philosophy and style of play, Rashford, in turn, sat down for an interview with Diario Sport this week.

During as much, the 27-year-old was drawn on a whole host of topics, from his goals for the season ahead to the Ballon d’Or race and more.

Another question put to Rashford saw the versatile forward drawn on the talents of new attacking partner-in-crime Lamine Yamal.

And in his response, Rashford drew comparisons between Lamine and one of football’s greatest-ever players:

“Lamine Yamal is the most talented I’ve played with for his age. I haven’t played with or seen anyone with the impact he has on the game… Maybe Ronaldo Nazário, ‘El Fenómeno’.”
