Mariza and Andressa Alves climb Corinthians Women’s goal and assist charts

Corinthians' qualification for the Copa Libertadores final, after a 1-1 draw in regular time and a 6-5 victory on penalties against Ferroviária, stirred the rankings of goals and assists for the Brabas this season. In the triumph over the Araraquara team, the goal for the black-and-white team was scored by midfielder Mariza, with an assist from attacking midfielder Andressa Alves from a free kick.

The pass for the goal by the number 20 was her tenth assist of the season, consolidating her as the leader in this category for the season – two more than Gi Fernandes and Vic Albuquerque, both in second place. Meanwhile, Mariza scored her second goal of the year. In goal contributions, they reached 17 and three, respectively, improving their individual numbers.
