Marseille defender Leonardo Balerdi rejected a spring move to Bayer Leverkusen after an offer worth about €25 million plus bonuses for the 27-year-old.
According to L'Équipe, with everyone considered available for transfer, Marseille appear before the DNCG on Tuesday and need summer sales to steady the club’s finances.
No formal bid has yet arrived for Mason Greenwood, while AS Roma, led by Gian Piero Gasperini, are monitoring the former Manchester United player.
Balerdi did not feel a switch to the Rhineland suited him, despite Leverkusen being qualified for the Europa League and now coached by the Spanish manager Carles Martinez Novell, formerly of Toulouse.
Under contract until 2028, Balerdi declined the transfer, then sustained a calf injury with Argentina just before the World Cup, which forced him to withdraw.
