Olympique de Marseille midfielder Quinten Timber (24) is keen on a move to the Premier League, as per a report from L’Équipe.
Marseille will miss out on UEFA Champions League football for next season and the club are therefore expected to sell several players. Even key players are available, with the club in desperate need of funds.
Timber only arrived at OM back in January in a €4.5m move from Feyenoord. He has since excelled and his value has more than tripled. The transfer window has yet to open, however, it is understood that the Dutchman is already the subject of bids. It looks unlikely that Marseille will be able to hold onto the midfielder.
L’Équipe understands that Timber, under contract with Les Phocéens until 2030, is keen on a move to the Premier League. His brother, Jurrien, of course, already plays in England’s top flight, with Arsenal, who could be crowned Premier League champions this season.
