Martinell on bench as Arsenal name team to face Man United | OneFootball

Gabriel Martinelli has been named on the bench for Arsenal at Manchester United this afternoon.

The Brazilian has been out of action for a month after sustaining a hamstring injury against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup semi-final.

After five games out, Martinelli is available and named as a substitute. His return is a welcome boost for the Gunners, who are light in the final third amid injury issues.

There’s one change from the team that thrashed PSV Eindhoven 7-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Riccardo Calafiori comes in at left-back, replacing Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Arsenal XI: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Nwaneri, Trossard, Merino.
