NXGN has named Mateus Mane 30th in its 2026 list of 50 teenage talents, underscoring his rapid ascent at Wolves.
The 18-year-old has moved from academy prospect to first-team regular around the turn of the year, his fearless, direct play energising supporters and team-mates.
Lamine Yamal, Willian Estevao, Pau Curbasi, Franco Mastantuono and Lennart Karl head the top five.
With Wolves highly likely to be relegated, Mane is seen as worthy of Premier League football, which could put his Molineux future in play.
Reported interest has intensified, with Manchester United and Liverpool monitoring him and recent claims of United talks, while Newcastle United have also been linked.
Wolves will fight to keep him as they target an immediate Premier League return, but a sizeable fee beckons if he does not stay, and this ranking is likely to lift his value.
Internationally, Portugal appear to be edging out England after Mane received a Portugal under-21 call-up this month.
