Mauricio provided the assist as Palmeiras beat Mirassol 1-0 at Allianz Parque.

According to Nosso Palestra, the No 18 was observed in person by analysts from overseas clubs on Sunday, who were seeking further information ahead of a possible move in the next transfer window. The clubs were not disclosed.

Flaco López scored in the first half in the sixth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Paraguay have named Mauricio, Gustavo Gómez and Ramón Sosa in their squad for March friendlies.

They face Greece on 27 March and Morocco on 31 March, fixtures scheduled as preparation for upcoming internationals and the FIFA World Cup in 2026.

Newly naturalised, Mauricio is now eligible to represent Paraguay and has been given a first opportunity to join the national set-up.
