Max Wober leaves Leeds as Lucas Perri ‘agrees terms’ and USA tour begins | OneFootball

Leeds United have arrived in the United States for pre-season matches against Wrexham, Liverpool and Sunderland over the next fortnight.

They have added two signings so far, Harry Wilson on a free and £34m on Tarik Muharemovic, the Bosnian becoming their second-biggest deal. Meanwhile, TMW reports that Lucas Perri has agreed personal terms with Torino, with a potential exit said to hinge on Leeds recruiting a replacement.

Leeds have confirmed a mutual termination of Max Wober’s contract. The Austrian’s three-year stint, which began under Jesse Marsch, included relegation within six months, a loan in season two and injury issues after Werder Bremen. He is reportedly about to sign for Schalke following their promotion.

Leeds have tabled multiple offers for a Northern Ireland international, including £23m plus add-ons. A third bid has been lodged and the player is keen on a Premier League move.

That leaves Jack Harrison, Joe Gelhardt, Largie Ramazani and Sam Chambers in the mix. Chambers may get a chance later after a run of injuries, while Ramazani’s absence explains the club’s stance.

Leeds have already lost Karl Darlow and Illan Meslier this summer. With Darlow gone, Perri is first choice again, with only Alex Cairns, Darryl Ombang and Rory Mahady behind him. He endured a difficult first year but produced some FA Cup redemption.
