Despite the chaos at Chelsea this season, the Blues are just one game away from winning a trophy. Midfielder Romeo Lavia spoke to the club’s official website about the Blues’ chances in the FA Cup final against his old team Man City, and how caretaker manager Calum McFarlane has replaced Liam Rosenior.

“We know Calum very, very well,” Lavia said of his interim coach.

“It’s just about adapting to what has happened and trying not to look at the past and moving forward as soon as possible, especially in this competition where the aim is to get a trophy, which we know is possible. We tried to prepare the game as best we could.”

Lavia will be key in any game against a top team. We saw how effective he is under pressure controlling the tempo against Leeds, and we will need him at his best against Man City.

It will also be interesting to see how McFarlane likes to use him.
