Midtjylland in talks to sign Newcastle United target Pierre Mounguengue from PSG | OneFootball

FC Midtjylland are reportedly making a move to try and secure the services of Paris Saint-Germain’s Pierre Mounguengue (18), according to information from Foot Mercato.

With his contract set to expire on 30th June, the young forward is attracting interest, whilst his future at PSG appears to be looking increasingly uncertain. Although considered one of the top talents at the Rouge et Bleu academy, Mounguengue has not yet been offered any real prospects for the future with the reigning double European champions.

This is reason enough for the Danish club to believe they stand a chance in this transfer, which has also recently attracted interest from RC Strasbourg Alsace, Bayern Munich and Newcastle United.

A key player in PSG’s Under-19s side, Mounguengue finished the 2025-26 season with 21 goals and 12 assists to his name, having also made his professional debut under Luis Enrique in early May and won the Coupe Gambardella.
