French goalkeeper Mike Maignan could be on his way out of AC Milan this summer, and Chelsea appears to be leading the race to sign him, according to the latest rumors.

At 30 years old, Maignan joined Milan in the summer of 2021 from Lille OSC. At the time, he signed a five-year contract, which is set to expire at the end of this season. For several months, there have been talks about a possible extension with the Lombard club, but no concrete agreement has been reached.

The trend is now pointing more and more toward a free departure at the end of his contract.
