MATCH REPORT After a quiet start, ChievoVerona struck first. In the 12th minute, a hesitant clearance from Bouyer gifted D’Este the opening, coolly chipping it in. Moments later Sia nearly equalised, meeting a Cappelletti cross with a powerful header, only for Tosi to pull off a superb save. The Rossoneri pushed on: Eletu forced another stop at the 20th, Perina tried an acrobatic effort at the 24th, but instead it was Chievo who doubled their lead. 33 minutes in, Sala lost possession, and Prandini fed De Cerchio, who rounded Bouyer and slotted home. Just before the break, Milan Futuro found a lifeline: Sia controlled inside the box, cut inside, and curled a stunning finish into the top corner (42’).

The restart brought fresh energy, with Oddo’s changes tilting the match.
