MILAN FUTURO SECURE A DRAW AGAINST VILLA VALLE: 1-1 AT CHINETTI | OneFootball

Milan Futuro's unbeaten run in the league extends to six consecutive matches, now evenly split between wins and draws. Not being able to convert the many chances created, especially in the first half, was frustrating, but Sardos equaliser in the 87th minute ensured the team avoided a defeat that would have been hard to take.

The point earned keeps Coach Oddo's team in the top five of the group, firmly in the race for the Playoffs, with Leon (playing today at 18:30 CEST) and Casatese Merate just one and two points ahead. Their position is further strengthened by a game in hand against Real Calepina, from matchday 29, scheduled for next Wednesday. That match will be a chance to secure maximum points.

MATCH REPORT It was a thrilling first half at the Chinetti. Both teams created four clear chances within the opening 15 minutes. Torriani was the hero on the first, making a spectacular save from Mouisse's header. Then came three consecutive chances for Milan Futuro: Sala hit the crossbar, while Magrassi and Traorè were denied by excellent saves from Moroni. Before the half-hour mark, Cappelletti tested the visiting goalkeeper again, and Sardo shot over. Shortly after, Traorè capitalised on a pass from Magrassi to break free, but he sent his shot over the bar after beating the defenders. Villa Valle returned to the Milan Futuro box in the 34th minute with Mouisse, who this time hit the crossbar. Just before halftime, Tartaglia failed to finish off a quick move by Magrassi. The first half ended 0-0.

The second half didn't quite match the intensity of the first but the deadlock was finally broken after 12 minutes. The visitors pushed forward down the right, and Mouisse, again their most dangerous player in the first half, found the right moment to beat Torriani with a header to make it 0-1. The Rossoneri immediately tried to respond: Traorè forced a defender into a last-minute deflection for a corner, and Sardo's follow-up volley just missed the target. Shortly after, Magrassi had the power but lacked accuracy. Just when it looked like fatigue might take over, Oddo's team struck: just three minutes before full-time, Sardo met a corner to calmly slot past Moroni. The visiting goalkeeper was decisive again in the first minute of added time, denying Sardo a second goal and Milan Futuro a victory. The game ended 1-1 at the Chinetti.
