Thiago Silva is set to leave FC Porto after one season, with options emerging in Serie A and the Premier League. According to ESPN Brasil, Milan have offered the 41-year-old a one-year contract, while Chelsea are exploring a coaching route.

The proposed deal runs to June 2027 and anticipates the Brazilian retiring within a year.

A move would mark a return to a club he represented from 2009 to 2012, where he is seen as an idol, and place him close to friend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the sporting director.

Alternatively, Silva could end his playing career and enter a coaching course in England. Chelsea, where he featured from 2020 to 2024, have reportedly already made a proposal.

His next step remains open, either extending his playing days in Italy or beginning a coaching pathway in England.
