Paulo Fonseca’s training session at Milanello began later than originally scheduled on Thursday after Zlatan Ibrahimovic addressed the players in a lengthy meeting in the dressing room, according to the latest updates.
The Rossoneri squad had been due to begin training around 11.30 local time on Wednesday morning, but Ibrahimovic arrived at Milanello at around 11.00 and headed straight for the dressing room to talk to the players.
For that reason, the players came out a few minutes later than originally scheduled for training ahead of the decisive Derby della Madonnina against Inter on Sunday.
The situation surrounding the Rossoneri and their coach Paulo Fonseca is becoming increasingly unstable, and reports indicate that he could lose his job if he does not achieve a convincing victory over Inter at the weekend.
Milan have won just once so far this season, a 4-0 victory at home against Venezia, but dres 2-2 with Torino and Lazio before that, as well as a 2-1 loss away to Parma. They were also beaten convincingly by a margin of three goals to one at home against Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday.
