Serie A giants Milan are currently unlikely to sign Niclas Fullkrug on a permanent basis from West Ham.
The German joined the Rossoneri on an initial loan deal from the Hammers in January and they have a cheap option to buy. The striker scored a key goal against Lecce some weeks ago but hasn’t started even once in Serie A.
Daniele Longo reports that even if Fullkrug offers what Max Allegri demands from his striker, he has failed to establish himself. He also picked up a toe injury that derailed his progress, making sure that it is now unlikely that Milan sign him permanently from West Ham.
It is reported that the 33-year-old is only half fit because of the injury. It was initially expected some weeks ago that he can be out for a prolonged amount of time but it came as a shock to many when he returned in time for the next fixture. It now does look like the problem is hampering Fullkrug’s form.
