Aston Villa locked horns with Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier today as they looked to grab all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Villans made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.
Unai Emery’s men struggled to find the cutting edge in the final third and had to settle for a hard-fought 0-0 draw away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Aston Villa player fared during the clash against the Toffees.
Martinez made a couple of solid saves during the game and earned a crucial clean sheet on the road.
RB: Matty Cash – 7/10
He got stuck in with a few solid tackles and made one good chance going forward.
CB: Ezri Konsa – 7/10
Konsa performed his defensive duties well and would be pleased with the clean sheet.
CB: Tyrone Mings – 8/10
He put his foot through the ball when he could and put in a solid performance on the defensive end of the field. Mings deserves to be named the man of the match.
