After more than a month out, striker Christian Benteke could return to a D.C. United squad that badly needs his production ahead of Saturday's home fixture with Nashville SC.

Benteke has been upgraded to questionable on the MLS Player Status Report for Matchday 21. He last appeared in D.C.'s 0-0 home draw against New York City FC, an encounter he had to depart after 19 minutes with an ankle injury.

The Belgian is still D.C.'s top scorer despite missing that time with the Black-and-Red, scoring six goals so far in 12 league appearances. And D.C. has been kept off the board in half of the six league games they've played without him, scoring only four times in total.

Djordje Mihailovic out for Colorado Rapids

After scoring early in Wednesday night's 2-0 victory over the LA Galaxy, Mihailovic will miss out for Chris Armas' squad in their visit to New England Revolution on Saturday with an ankle issue.

Mihailovic played all 90 minutes in the victory against LA, in which the Rapids leaped out to a 2-0 halftime lead and then saw out a relatively comfortable win after the break.

Mihailovic leads the Rapis with eight goals this season and has appeared in all 19 league games. An injury down the stretch late last year contributed to a six-match losing run to end the 2024 season.

Cole Bassett, who also missed most of that tailspin, has been upgraded to questionable after mising Wednesday's tilt with an ankle issue.

Antony out for Portland Timbers

News broke earlier this week that Portland star man Antony could miss 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury, according to manager Phil Neville.

The Brazilian has been arguably the Timbers' best player in the wake of Jonathan Rodriguez's injury struggles, which now have the Uruguayan out for the year. Antony's six goals and seven assists in MLS both lead the club and match or exceed totals from last year.
