Moffi, picked by Farioli to bolster FC Porto in the second half of the season, has been profiled by an ex-team-mate from his formative years in Lithuania.

According to O Jogo, Mindaugas Grigaravicius, the Riteriai left-back known as Grigas, admitted he initially thought the Nigerian was terrible, only for Moffi to prove everyone wrong within three months. With confidence, he believes the striker can surge past close markers and play without limits.

Moffi left Nigeria for an academy in England, then at 18 chose the professional route in Lithuania. Despite early paperwork issues, he excelled at Riteriai with 20 goals in 31 matches in 2019.

He later made his name in France with Lorient and Nice, leaving a clear goalscoring mark across Ligue 1.

Those returns convinced FC Porto to sign him. Farioli already knew him well from 23/24 at Nice, where Moffi scored 11 goals while the Italian was in charge on the Côte d’Azur.

Grigaravicius highlighted Moffi’s power, sharp finishing and ability to punish defenders, portraying a forward who thrives on belief and momentum.
