Liverpool's Egyptian King Mohamed Salah is adored for his professionalism on the pitch. Off it, he's admired for his constant displays of class.
His arrival at Anfield back in 2017 has allowed him to grow into one of the most successful players in world football, winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, two Carabao Cups and the Champions League during his seven-year spell on Merseyside. His success has propelled him to the top of the game, where he rightfully belongs.
Aside from his achievements on the pitch, Salah holds the trophy for beingone of the best dressed players in the game. Whether it's a red carpet event, a stroll towards Liverpool's training centre or an afternoon on the sofa, Salah is always seen in perfectly paired outfits.
His influence off the pitch has even seen him grace the cover of GQ's global edition and star in campaigns for a number of luxury brands.
During an interview with GQ back in 2022, he admitted: "The best thing you could have is a serious conversation with yourself. Just get a coffee and just sit like this and just ask yourself what you want. Some people can't face themselves properly. But I have no problem with that. If I'm struggling, I just face myself and just feel where I am."
This message in itself sums up Salah's ability to express himself, an asset so key in fashion. He's among the growing list of players choosing to ignore societal norms and indulge in the things he enjoys.
In April last year Salah became the face behind Gucci and adidas' collaboration, styling their SS23 pieces with charisma and elegance. The adidas athlete donned green wool trousers with a combined logo of the two brands before switching to a colourful half-zip jacket.
It's not the last time he's swapped the pitch for the studio either. Back in May, when Liverpool released their kit for the 2024/25 season, Salah was of course chosen for the promotional photos as the face of the club.
The home kit, featuring the club's vintage yellow and a 1984-inspired v-neck, has been worn during the Reds' dominance in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
The fashion-conscious side of Salah's fanbase could suggest that when he dresses well off the pitch, he shines on it. This can absolutely be said about the winger's current season. Salah simply never misses with his seasonal ensembles and stylish outfits - creating a platform of expression that allows him to be at his ultimate best when You'll Never Walk Alone echoes around Anfield.
