Paul Pogba’s last match was 790 days ago, with his final official outing taking place on September 3, 2023, against Empoli while wearing the Juventus shirt. Now, the French midfielder is poised to turn the page on more than two years away from the pitch this Saturday at Louis II.

The announcement was made by Sébastien Pocognoli, the Monaco head coach, after his side's 5-3 Ligue 1 victory over Nantes. "It's possible he could be reintegrated with the squad, yes. Paul still has one more training session tomorrow, and if he feels good, we might see him back. It wouldn’t be surprising to see his name on the team sheet." he said.
