AS Monaco were provided with a boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League opener against Barcelona, with Lamine Camara deemed fit to start, despite being stretchered off during Saturday’s win over AJ Auxerre.
The Senegalese midfielder, who suffered an Adam’s Apple injury, could start alongside Denis Zakaria; alternatively, Aleksandr Golovin could start deeper in the midfield, with Eliesse Ben Seghir coming in on the left wing. Whilst Breel Embolo has been preferred up front in recent Ligue 1 games, there is a question mark around the centre-forward. It is a game in which Folarin Balogun could be better suited.
Adi Hutter, making his Champions League debut as manager, has an almost full squad at his disposal. Radoslaw Majecki, Mamadou Coulibaly and Edan Diop are the only absentees for Monaco.
