Monaco host Auxerre in Ligue 1 at Stade Louis-II on Sunday, 19 April 2026, with the hosts eyeing the European places from seventh and the visitors starting in the relegation play-off spot.

Monaco have won the past six meetings, including December's 2-1 success in the Coupe de France, so Auxerre arrive aiming to halt a one-sided recent run.

Les Rouge et Blanc have four league wins in five, beating Lyon, Brest and Marseille before a setback at Paris FC. Auxerre are unbeaten in three, drawing with Le Havre and Nantes either side of a 3-0 home win over Brest.

Les Rouge et Blanc are without Takumi Minamino, Caio Henrique, Mohammed Salisu, Vanderson, Kassoum Ouattara and Stanis Idumbo through injury, while Lamine Camara is suspended. Auxerre list Clément Akpa, Oussama El Azzouzi, Lasso Coulibaly and Yvan Zaddy among their absentees.

With 53% average possession and 50 league goals, Les Rouge et Blanc may look to pin Auxerre back via quick runners and crosses from open play. Folarin Balogun, fifth in the Ligue 1 scoring chart with 11, and Maghnes Akliouche offer the cutting edge. For Auxerre, goals have been harder to come by at 23, so Lassine Sinayoko's seven this season loom large if they counter and keep shape.

A win would move Les Rouge et Blanc to 52 points and could lift them into the top six. Auxerre would rise to 27 points with victory and may close the gap to 15th, edging their survival bid forward.
