Morgan Rogers would reportedly only seriously consider leaving Aston Villa for Arsenal or Bayern Munich this summer.
Rogers has admirers at leading clubs across Europe following an impressive period at Villa Park. The 23-year-old scored 14 goals in all competitions for Unai Emery’s side in 2025/26, having won the PFA Young Player of the Year award a season earlier.
His performances helped Aston Villa to Champions League qualification and Europa League success, alongside inclusion in England’s World Cup squad.
Villa do not want to sell, but could consider massive offers to fund their own transfer business. The Villans signed Rogers for just £8m and his sale would represent huge profit on the club’s balance sheet.
According to Football Transfers, Rogers would only consider Arsenal or Bayern Munich, despite rival interest from Chelsea and Manchester United. His representatives have held ‘extensive’ talks with both clubs.
Arsenal view Rogers as an option to upgrade their left-side, valuing the midfielder’s powerful ball-carrying and goal threat.
Bayern Munich also admire Rogers, though are progressing in talks to sign PSV Eindhoven’s Ismael Saibari for a fee of around €50m.
