Louie Barry became the latest addition at Sheffield Wednesday earlier this week
Sheffield Wednesday completed the signing of Louie Barry from Aston Villa earlier this week.
The Owls have been quite active in the transfer market following Arise Capital’s takeover of the club at the beginning of May.
The group led by David Storch are seeking to rebuild the first team squad, and to get Sheffield Wednesday back to a competitive level.
The Yorkshire outfit have now finalised seven signings, with Barry's arrival being the latest.
The 23-year-old has joined on a permanent basis, agreeing to a four year deal.
Henrik Pedersen will be hoping that the forward can make a major impact at Hillsborough, with the club preparing for life in League One.

Barry has issued a message thanking Aston Villa for their support during his time with the club following the completion of his move to Sheffield Wednesday.
He's claimed that the Premier League side will always be dear to him, and that now is the right time to move on and further his career elsewhere.
“After six years at Aston Villa, the club I’ve supported my whole life, it’s time for me to start a new chapter in my career,” wrote Barry, via his Instagram.
“I came in as a boy, and through all the experiences I’ve had, all the ups and downs, Villa helped me throughout.
“Now I’m leaving as a man.
“Winning the FA Youth Cup and scoring on my professional debut against Liverpool are moments I’ll cherish and keep close to my heart forever.
“Thank you to everyone at the club — from staff and the players, to everyone who helped me throughout my loan spells.
“It’s been an honour to be an Aston Villa player, and I wish everyone at the club the very best.”
England international and Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers has responded to Barry's message, replying: “Good luck my boy.”
Barry spent a lot of time out on loan in the last few seasons, including a brief stint with Sheffield Wednesday’s bitter rivals Sheffield United, where he made nine league appearances.
He also joined Stockport County on loan on three separate occasions, where Sheffield Wednesday's new sporting director Simon Wilson previously worked.
The pair have reunited at Hillsborough, with Wilson leading the Owls’ recruitment drive this summer.
It's likely that Barry won't be the last addition to Pedersen’s side between now and the 1 September transfer deadline, with plenty of further signings expected.
The most notable addition so far has been the return of Barry Bannan.
The 36-year-old spent over 10 years with the Owls before departing last January to Millwall amid the club’s significant financial issues.
But an agreement was reached with the Lions to bring the Scot back to Sheffield Wednesday for the new campaign.
Bannan made over 400 appearances for the club during his first stint, and was even made captain prior to his departure.
Other additions include Ricardo Santos, Callum Slattery and Jordi Liongola, as well as Sil Swinkels.
Harry Gray has also made the switch to Hillsborough, arriving on loan from Leeds United.
Sheffield Wednesday will begin the new League One campaign on 15 August with a trip to face Leyton Orient.

Barry has had a difficult last 12 to 18 months, as he has struggled to maintain the initial form he showed in his first two spells at Stockport.
The 23-year-old particularly struggled at Sheffield United and Hull City, with injuries hampering his stint with the latter.
However, the opportunity to move to Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent basis offers his career a fresh start, and the project being built by the Owls is quite exciting.
This has the potential to be a very promising move in his career, and he will be an excellent addition if he can rediscover his best form.
