Mourinho ‘to face’ Arouca trip with four Benfica injury doubts | OneFootball

Mourinho is fine-tuning Benfica for Arouca but faces fresh headaches, with four players doubtful after the Clássico against Porto.

According to A Bola, Benfica have four days to get Nicolás Otamendi, Georgiy Sudakov, Dodi Lukebakio and Leandro Barreiro ready, after they ended the game with fitness concerns. Barreiro scored the goal that kept morale high.

The captain and the No 18 were doubts until matchday, the Argentinian started but was replaced by António Silva. The Luxembourger came on and rescued a point.

Lukebakio was introduced for Gianluca Prestianni, then reported discomfort. Sudakov continues to feel back pain that has kept him out in recent weeks.

The report added that Otamendi said he had taken a heavy knock that left his foot numb, though he felt ready to play in Arouca. The fixture is on 14 March at 20:30.
