Rangers forward Hamza Igamane is experiencing discomfort in his adductors and did not train yesterday, according to Foot Mercato journalist Sebastien Denis.
Manager Russell Martin claimed that the wantaway attacker refused to play when the Ibrox club took on St Mirren last Sunday after insisting he was injured.
Rangers have carried out an MRI scan, and the French journalist says he is injured and not fit enough to feature against Club Brugge tomorrow.
The Bears lost 3-1 to the Belgian club in the first leg of the Champions League play-offs at Ibrox last Tuesday, thanks to some shambolic defending.
They have a massive task of overturning the deficit, but will not have Igamane available.
The 22-year-old trained in the build-up to the Scottish Premiership game last weekend and completed the warm-up in Paisley.
It is believed his refusal to come on against St Mirren is because Rangers knocked back a bid for him from one of his suitors last week.
He still wants to leave, and it is unclear if he will feature against Celtic on Sunday.
Rangers are still waiting for their first league win of 2025-26 following draws against Motherwell, Dundee and the Saints.
They are six points off league leaders Celtic as a result, and they need to be on top of their game if they want to become the first team to take points off them this term.
Igamane bagged 16 goals across all competitions last term in what was an impressive debut campaign with the Light Blues.
Qualifying for the league phase of the Champions League would be huge, and Martin can establish himself as an immediate hit with the fans by leading his side to a comeback on Wednesday.
