Münster and Paderborn play out the first draw of 2. Bundesliga season | OneFootball

The two teams had contrasting fortunes in the opening weekend of the 2. Bundesliga season. SC Paderborn got their reward in the 99th minute for a dominant performance against Holstein Kiel, while Preußen Münster lost to Karlsruhe by a goal scored in the 88th minute while they were reduced to ten men.

The young goalkeeper Johannes Schenk was the man of the match for the hosts with a couple of solid saves in the closing stage of the game. Münster’s next game will be against Hertha Berlin, but it’s in the first round of the cup instead of the 2. Bundesliga. Similarly, Paderborn will travel to Viktoria Köln for the Pokal action.
