The incident came in the 1-0 win over Athletico-PR at Allianz Parque on Sunday 19. Early in the second half, Murilo received a second yellow for holding an opponent to stop a promising attack, as recorded by referee Felipe Fernandes de Lima in his report to the CBF.

The official also noted that, after the dismissal, the defender approached him and repeatedly called the officiating a disgrace, then repeated the remark to the fourth official while leaving the pitch.

The ban will be served against Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday 26.
