Nantes ‘to consider’ Rémy Cabella as January option

Rémy Cabella could return to Ligue 1 in January, with Nantes weighing up a move for the Olympiakos midfielder.

According to Ouest France, Nantes are looking at the 35-year-old, who has struggled for minutes at Olympiakos. He is said to be open to the switch.

No agreement has been reached, but a six-month loan is being explored. Nantes are also monitoring Lens forward Florian Sotoca.

Cabella left Lille last summer to sign a two-year contract with Olympiakos. He has played only 10 matches in all competitions this season, none in the Champions League.

Nantes want experienced options to improve their position, they sit 17th in Ligue 1. They have already brought in left-back Deiver Machado as a joker signing.
