Napoli responded to their midweek Champions League exit by beating Fiorentina 2-1, with Vergara central to a valuable Serie A win.
According to Football Italia, the young forward was named Player of the Match after scoring and assisting, teeing up Miguel Gutierrez for Napoli’s second. Fiorentina’s goal came from Manor Solomon.
Antonio Conte was rated six and a half while working with an injury-hit squad. Di Lorenzo went off injured in the first half and Mathias Olivera, his replacement, was Napoli’s lowest-rated after a below-par display.
For Fiorentina, Manor Solomon scored their goal and was picked as their best performer. Pietro Comuzzo endured a tough night, losing too many duels on the ground and in the air.
