The winger has been at Cobham lately recovering from an injury, but he is still a Sporting player until the end of the season when he will officially arrive at Stamford Bridge as a new Chelsea player, expected to be coming into the first team squad to compete for a place on the right wing.
It sounds like the youngster has been working hard to make sure he is ready to take on his new challenge at the club.

According to a report from A Bola in Portugal, picked up on X this week, Quenda will return for sporting soon, and he’s been getting ready for his summer move to Chelsea. Cobham has become his second home during his injury recovery – he now boasts more muscle mass, power and a body ready for the Premier League, he has been learning English, and even crossed paths with Liam Rosenior.
His goal is to claim the right wing spot back for Sporting and end the season on double digits for both goals and assists, then go and immediately compete for a spot at Chelsea.
There’s also a load more speculation around the future of Cole Palmer, with the Manchester United noise just not disappearing. Palmer, like Fernandez, is obviously pretty disgruntled with things at the club right now.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino has joined in on that debate as well and give his opinion on what Palmer needs to do to become successful.
