Michael Olise is having an outstanding season at FC Bayern – and has apparently sparked the interest of Real Madrid. According to media reports, the Whites are planning a spectacular move for the French attacker, with a transfer fee in the region of 160 million euros being mooted
The winger only moved to Munich from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 and has quickly developed into an absolute key player under coach Vincent Kompany. With his goals, assists and intelligence, Olise is now one of the most eye-catching attacking players in Europe
This development has not gone unnoticed in Madrid

According to reports on the football data portal, Real president Florentino Pérez is said to be very interested in signing the Bayern star, with the club boss dreaming of seeing Olise play alongside Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior in a spectacular attack in the future
The Madrilenians are said to be prepared to invest up to 160 million euros to realize a potential transfer, which would make Olise one of the most expensive transfers in the club’s history
However, Real would first have to create financial leeway. The Spanish record champions are therefore planning to sell at least two players. Brahim Díaz and Franco Mastantuono, among others, have been mentioned as possible sales candidates. Their departures could both bring in money and create space in the squad
However, FC Bayern are unlikely to be thrilled by these plans. Olise is tied to the Munich club until 2029 and is considered one of the most important building blocks for the club’s future
Internally, those responsible see the Frenchman as a central component of the attack around Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Luis Díaz. Accordingly, there are no signs at all that the German record champions would even consider selling him
In Madrid, Olise fits perfectly into President Pérez’s long-term strategy of continuing to focus on spectacular attacking stars. The club fears losing its dominance in European soccer and is apparently planning another major transfer.
