A light show featuring large-scale building projections illuminated the industrial backdrop and showcased the new kit. “A kit has a special significance. You wear it with pride. Captain Emre Can, who is currently working on his comeback following a cruciate ligament tear, wore the new kit and was impressed: “The kit is very nice. It’s simple and looks good. Seeing the kit motivates me to come back even sooner.” Regarding his rehabilitation progress, Can reported: “I can walk without crutches and am already putting weight on my knee again.” He was joined by BVB player Rita Schumacher, who presented the new shirt on behalf of the BVB women’s team.

The BVB first team will wear the new home kit on the pitch for the first time in the home match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday evening. It is available now in the online shop and in all fan shops.
