FC Bayern are pressing ahead with their plans for the defense. In addition to prominent names such as Josko Gvardiol or Luka Vuskovic, the record champions are apparently still intensively involved with DFB international Yann Bisseck
According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, the Inter Milan defender is still on the Munich team’s list. The 25-year-old is considered an extremely interesting profile internally – above all because of his flexibility
Vincent Kompany is known to rely on versatile defensive players who can play in several positions, and Bisseck fits this profile almost perfectly
The German international can be deployed both in the center of defense and as a right-back – two positions where Bayern definitely see a need for action in the summer
The right side of defense in particular remains an issue at Säbener Straße due to the uncertain future of Konrad Laimer

The defensive player is currently still under contract with Inter Milan until 2029 and, with 35 competitive games under his belt, is now a regular for the Nerazzurri. Nevertheless, a move in the summer is reportedly not out of the question
Particularly interesting: according to Sportitalia, Bisseck will be represented by a new consultancy agency from July. In the industry, such a move is often seen as the first signal for potential transfer talks
However, a cheap transfer is unlikely to be possible. According to Transfermarkt, the central defender’s market value is currently around 40 million euros, although Inter Milan are said to have much higher expectations internally and are hoping for a transfer fee of more than 50 million euros
In addition, several Premier League clubs are apparently monitoring the DFB star’s situation very closely
One thing is clear: Bayern are currently intensively exploring the market for central defenders and defensive all-rounders
With Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano, the regular central defense is well-stocked, but the Munich club are still looking at other solutions – also in view of the uncertain future of Minjae Kim and Hiroki Ito
In addition to Bisseck, Gvardiol and Vuskovic in particular are considered exciting candidates, although both would be considerably more expensive
Bisseck could therefore represent an interesting mixture of immediate help and development potential – and above all fit perfectly into Vincent Kompany’s flexible defensive concept.
