Newcastle ‘to consider’ Joao Gomes, as Wolves eye Adrian Blake | OneFootball

Joao Gomes has been mentioned as a potential target for Newcastle United, The Athletic reports. Sandro Tonali has been sold to Tottenham for £100million this summer, while Bruno Guimaraes is strongly linked with Arsenal.

The report said Gomes has been mentioned in planning meetings at St James’ Park. He has made 116 Premier League appearances for Wolves, scoring seven league goals since joining from Flamengo in 2023.

Wolves are interested in signing FC Utrecht winger Adrian Blake this summer, Sky Sports News says. Burnley and Celtic are also set to compete for his signature.

The former Watford wide player made just three senior appearances during 2022-23 at Vicarage Road. Since moving to Utrecht, he has nine goals and five assists in 63 games, including four and two last term.

The 20-year-old has one year left on his contract and is valued at around £2.5million.
