WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Magpies this evening.
The 32-year-old makes the move to Tyneside after leaving former club Aston Villa last month. Nobbs has spent the last two-and-a-half years with the East Midlands side.
Nobbs started her career in her native North East with Sunderland before going on to shine at Arsenal. The player won three WSL titles and nine domestic cups with The Gunners.
On the international stage, Nobbs has collected 71 senior caps for England while she has scored eight goals for her country.
After completing her move to Newcastle United, Nobbs said “I think they are a very ambitious club and speaking to everyone, the goal is to get promoted and push women’s football in the North East. I want to be part of that.
“I’ve always had a winning mentality, and it’s the same mentality here, every game is like a cup final. I want to be part of a successful club that pushes to the next level.”
Nobbs is Newcastle United’s third signing of the summer transfer window.
