Newcastle United sign midfielder Guatrat on a permanent deal

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Magpies this evening.
The 33-year-old United States international joined Newcastle United on loan from American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club Orlando Pride last summer. Gautrat made five appearances for The Magpies in the first half of the season in which she scored one goal.
The midfielder brought plenty of experience with her to England. Gautrat won league titles in both France and America while she has been capped by the United States on 88 occasions. The player won back-to-back FIFA Women’s World Cups with The Stars and Stripes.
Gautrat’s time on Tyneside will now be extended with the player having joined the club on a permanent basis.
After signing on with Newcastle United, Gautrat said “I’m delighted to have signed a permanent contract with the club. I have really enjoyed my time here and in the city so far.
“I’m excited to get back on the pitch with the girls and keep working towards our ambitions for this season and beyond.”
Newcastle United continue the Barclays WSL2 season when they travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Saturday evening.
