Newcastle United have already identified a potential replacement for Alexander Isak, according to a report.

Isak is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and has been on fire for Newcastle this season.

The 25-year-old Sweden international has scored 19 goals and made five assists in 25 Premier League games, as Eddie Howe’s side challenge for a Champions League place.

However, there is a chance that Isak could leave Newcastle in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Isak, and although Newcastle would love to keep him, failure to qualify for the Champions League could be detrimental.

Newcastle are reportedly looking for a replacement for Isak should the striker leave, and an Italian report has revealed that the Magpies have their eyes on Randal Kolo Muani.

According to TuttoJuve, Newcastle have Kolo Muani on their list as a potential replacement for Juventus.

The 26-year-old striker joined Juventus on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.

Kolo Muani was described by his France international team-mate and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe as a “very complete” striker who “has an impressive volume of play” in Metro in March 2023.

Kolo Muani is a very good striker whose experience of playing for PSG and Juventus suggests that he is a big-club player who would make Newcastle better.

Of course, Newcastle have to do their utmost to keep Isak. The Sweden international is one of the best strikers in Europe, and it would be a risk to sell him and then try to find a suitable replacement.

However, Kolo Muani would not be a bad signing for Newcastle for the right price.

Although the 26-year-old failed to make a huge impact during his time at PSG and scored just 11 goals in 54 matches, he has already scored five goals and provided two assists in 10 games for Juventus and scored 26 goals and gave 16 assists in 50 games while he was at Eintracht Frankfurt.
