Intriguing to hear that Newcastle United are tracking Sindre Walle Egeli, with a potential bid set to follow.
Dubbed the next ‘Erling Haaland’ the 18 year old striker is highly sought after.
Sindre Walle Egeli actually got the chance to train with and briefly play alongside the ‘original’ Erling Haaland this month.
Having just turned 18 in June, Sindre Walle Egeli got his first senior call up and played the final six minutes alongside the Manchester City and Norway striker, in an international against Kazakhstan 13 days ago.
Making 14 appearances and playing 922 minutes in total in younger age groups for his country, the teenager scoring a remarkable 16 goals, averaging an astonishing goal every 56 international youth minutes.
After scoring 19 goals in 11 appearances when playing for the reserve team of Sandefjord in his native country, it was announced in February 2022 when he was just 15, that Sindre Walle Egeli was moving to Danish Superliga club Nordsjaelland.
Sindre Walle Egeli was named on the bench 11 times in the 2023/24 Danish league season and made three cameo appearances totalling just 10 minutes.
However, this season he has become regularly involved and in five league starts and three sub appearances, the teenager has scored three goals so far.
With a series of for the future teenage players signed from the UK and overseas, clearly this is a process that is going to grow and grow, with Sindre Walle Egeli just the latest to be linked with Newcastle United.
United having already gone after and signed the likes of Trevan Sanusi, Yankuba Minteh, Garang Kuol, Rory Finneran, Leo Shahar, Alfie Harrison, Alex Murphy and many more.
