Liverpool manager Arne Slot is the second favourite on the Betfair Sportsbook to be the next Premier League manager to leave. Only Leeds manager Daniel Farke is a shorter price at 4/6.

After a big weekend in the Premier League, which saw Liverpool suffer a shock 3-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest and Leeds lose 2-1 to Aston Villa at Elland Road, the Betfair market makes fascinating reading.

Will Leeds sack Farke, who got them promoted as Championship winners last season?

Could Liverpool really call time on Slot's Anfield reign even though he won the title in his first season in charge in 2024/25?

Slot second favourite to be sacked next at 5/1

Let's start with the Reds. They started the season as title favourites but are out to 22/1 after losing six of their last seven Premier League matches, including two of their last three at home. They are 11th in the table.

All this after spending enormous sums in the summer on the Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz and others who have failed to fire.

Liverpool are famously reluctant to sack managers but each result now will attract scrutiny. Slot is under pressure to turn around results quickly.

Betfair have opened a market on his potential replacement, with Jurgen Klopp 2/1 favourite to return to the role he vacated in the summer of 2024.

Their next match is against PSV Einhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday before a trip to in-form West Ham on Sunday.

Farke favourite to be sacked at 4/6

Farke is treading a tightrope at Leeds and it would not be a surprise to see his Elland Road tenure come crashing down at any moment.

Leeds are 18th after third straight loss and 5/4 to be relegated. They took the lead on Sunday before Villa came back to win and leave Farke knowing his job is in jeopardy.

Leeds' next match is at Manchester City before home games against Chelsea and Liverpool. The German make have credit in the bank after getting Leeds back into the top flight. However, his position was in doubt in the summer amid reports that the owners did not think Farke was the right manager for Leeds in the Premier League.

Now those same owners may be considering Farke's future again.

The other big result at the weekend saw Arsenal thump Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium. Spurs manager Thomas Frank apologised to fans for his team's performance. He is not thought to be under immediate pressure and is 11/1 in the next manager to leave market.
