Neymar skipped Santos' technical and tactical drills led by Juan Pablo Vojvoda for a second successive day on Friday, focusing on load management, and is not expected to miss Tuesday's match at Mirassol.
According to Diario Do Peixe, the No 10 first completed physical work on the pitch at CT Rei Pelé, then moved indoors to finish a programmed workload set by the coaching staff.
The plan is precautionary and there is no concern for the fifth round of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A at Estádio José Maria de Campos Maia, where he is expected to start.
Since returning from surgery on the meniscus of his left knee, he has featured in three matches, twice completing the full 90 minutes. He scored twice against Vasco in his last outing.
Looking ahead, Neymar views the Mirassol game and the Corinthians clássico on 15 March at Vila Belmiro as key chances to earn a Brazil recall. The next squad list is due on 16 March, and he hopes to convince coach Carlo Ancelotti he is ready after nearly three years out.
