Neymar: once again facing legal trouble

Neymar Jr finds himself at the heart of yet another scandal. Record reported this Friday that a lawsuit has been filed against the Brazilian football star.

The plaintiff is a chef who worked for him at his villa in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Employed between July 2025 and February 2026, she has decided to take legal action against Neymar and the company that hired her.

She claims to have suffered physical injuries after working up to 16 hours a day, preparing meals for more than 150 people. Officially, her working hours were from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but in reality, her shifts often stretched until 11 p.m. or even midnight.

Additionally, she was supposed to work only on weekdays, but ended up serving on weekends as well. All this, she claims, led to health problems, including back pain and hip issues from lifting 10 kg cuts of meat and heavy kitchen utensils. Her salary was €654 per month. The chef is now seeking approximately €43,000 in damages.
