Nico Williams injury update before Athletic Club vs Las Palmas | OneFootball

Athletic Club have on Tuesday been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Nico Williams has been cleared for competitive action once more.

Wide-man Nico was for his part forced to sit out this past weekend, as Athletic made the trip to Spain’s capital for a La Liga meeting with Real Madrid.

As much came owing to a groin problem suffered en route to Los Leones’ Europa League victory over Rangers.

Ernesto Valverde’s troops are primed to return to action once more on Wednesday, in a La Liga meeting with Las Palmas at San Mamés.

Nico, in turn, has spent the last couple of days ramping up efforts towards returning to the pitch.

And as alluded to above, such endeavours, on Tuesday, have officially borne fruit.

This comes with the Spanish international having been included in the squad of players called up by boss Valverde to face Las Palmas:
