The Canaries are in the hunt for a new striker, and have tabled a bid for a Norwegian forward.
That's according to a report from Mike McGrath, with the Canaries looking to find a replacement for their American forward as he pursues an exit from Carrow Road after significant interest in the last few weeks from clubs both in England and abroad.
Phillipe Clement's side are in danger at the bottom of the Championship, with the Norfolk outfit currently occupying the final relegation spot in 22nd, despite beating Wrexham 2-1 on Saturday afternoon in North Wales.
Norwich face West Bromwich Albion away from home on Tuesday evening as they look to climb out of the bottom three for the first time since October, and a new striker would only help them maintain some positive form in the latter stages of the season.
McGrath has stated on X that the Canaries have made a bid for the Norwegian striker, after scoring 21 goals for Bodo/Glimt this season.

His team are preparing for a Champions League clash with Manchester City later on Tuesday, as their hunt for a first win in this year's competition continues, and they will hope that City struggle to contend with the conditions in Norway's extreme north.
Høgh is yet to score in this season's Champions League, but has scored seven times in 14 appearances in the Europa League in his career and this European experience is a huge draw for Norwich as they seek a replacement for Sargent.
The 25-year-old scored 17 goals in 28 league games for his team in the 2025 campaign as Glimt finished second in the Eliteserien. He joined his current side in January 2024, and has had great success, finding the back of the net 40 times in 81 appearances.
Sargent was left out of Norwich's squad on Saturday afternoon and has been training with the Canaries' U21s side as Toronto FC look to sign the striker on a £15m deal.
The American is perhaps using the threat of relegation as bargaining leverage and is trying to push his club to let him leave as he looks to earn his place in Mauricio Pochettino's squad for the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

However, he may have his wish granted if Høgh is brought to Carrow Road as the Canaries would then have ample cover in the attacking positions as Jovon Makama continues to find form in the Championship with yet another goal - this time coming against Wrexham.
Clement is starting to turn the tide at Norwich and he needs his squad to all be on the same path as him as he looks to guide the club away from relegation, and Sargent's time in Norfolk may finally come to an end.
