West Ham are not interested in appointing Frank Lampard, despite the rumours.
There has been a huge rise in speculation online which is linking the former Hammers midfielder with a return to east London as manager – following an excellent start to the season for his current club Coventry.
West Ham on the other hand have had a difficult start to the campaign under Graham Potter, however the latest result at Nottingham Forest has certainly helped lift the mood.
In spite of this, Lampard has been linked with a shock return to the club he left in 2001 for Chelsea – a move that fans have never let Frank forget, even to this day.
However, despite the rumours, it’s understood the rumours are just that. There is no truth and West Ham have no plans to dismiss Graham Potter, with whom they believe will deliver success at the club.
Potter has been backed as far as the club are concerned and there is real belief that a corner is being turned and we are in for a much better season than many predict.
