Nottingham Forest are one of multiple clubs interested in brining Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League this summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are third in the Premier League table and pushing for Champions League qualification.
Should Forest achieve European football, plans are underway to strengthen their squad with a centre-forward near the top of the wish list. Forest want to bring in competition for Chris Wood, with Taiwo Awoniyi having endured an injury-hit time a the City Ground.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira is reporting that Roma will look to sell Abraham this summer, once he returns from a loan spell at AC Milan. The 27-year-old has scored eight goals in 35 appearances on loan at Milan this season.
West Ham, Everton and Wolves are also all keen on the former Chelsea striker, who left West London for Rome in a £34m deal in 2021. He scored 27 goals in his debut campaign as Roma won the Europa Conference League but a combination of form and fitness issues have prevented him from reaching those heights in recent campaigns.
A return to England is set to be explored with Abraham’s representatives having held talks with several sides. A transfer back to the Premier League could boost the forward’s England ambitions, with Abraham having scored three goals in 11 caps for the Three Lions. However, he has not been capped since June 2022.
